Optical illusion is at heart of Kissing Ring by Marta Gattoni. The external part made of trasparent
plexiglas hugs the inner ring available in plated gold silver, silver or brass,
and it creates a mirror effect designing a kissing and a precious cup profiles.
The concept of the ring is inspired by the psychological test Rorschach and,
much closely to the fashion world, by the couturier Elsa Schiaparelli by the
Thirties, that mixed with excellent skills the eccentricity of clothes with those
of Surrealism and created garments that could be interpreted in many ways. Each
part of the modular ring is designed and made with CAD and CAM technologies.
Will the junction of the two profiles design a kiss or a cup? It depends on points
